Over the past twenty-plus years I've had the opportunity to provide comprehensive clinical social work services to individuals and families in a variety of settings. The most rewarding work experiences leading up to my current private psychotherapy practice include:
-Serving patients and their families as a medical, maternal/child and behavioral health social worker in one of the areas leading hospitals.
-Providing case management and supportive counseling services to seniors and their families at a continuing care retirement community.
-Serving those living with chronic mental illness as a psychotherapist and case manager.
I have chosen to specialize in relational EMDR psychotherapy as this work is so meaningful and I fully believe in the power of this transformative modality and in our capacity to heal our emotional wounds. While I continue to provide EMDR therapy to clients, I also provide consultation to clinicians who are trained in EMDR and wish to improve their knowledge and skills in EMDR as a relational psychotherapy. I also have the privilege of serving as a training facilitator for clinicians being trained in EMDR therapy through The Center for Excellence in EMDR Therapy https://www.emdrtherapy.com/
